How to Use These Templates

Choose the template that matches the final size and shape of your project, and do not scale or move its guides. Keep type and important artwork inside the safe area, and extend backgrounds or images at least .125 inches beyond the trim wherever the design bleeds off the page. For folded or die-cut pieces, keep the supplied fold and cut lines on a separate, nonprinting layer.

When the artwork is ready, export a print-quality PDF at final size with fonts embedded and images at an appropriate resolution. Submit booklet pages individually rather than as reader or printer spreads. Review any instructions included with the template, and see our file preparation guide for more detail. If the size, fold, or construction is unusual, send us the specifications before finishing the design.
